Lean Six Sigma Training and Resources

Our Lean Six Sigma courses help you identify inefficiencies and streamline operations within your department. By participating in a Lean Six Sigma certificate workshop, you’ll gain practical tools to boost productivity, cut costs, and deliver consistent, high-value results.

Build your understanding of Six Sigma principles through this introductory, self-paced course. The White Belt level is designed for those new to process improvement and serves as a prerequisite for our in-person and virtual Yellow Belt certificate workshop.

For UCLA employees ready to lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives, our Yellow Belt certificate offers a dynamic process simulation and learning experience designed to build upon foundational skills using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

In-Person Course (One-Day Session)

  • Format: 8-hour, full-day session conducted on campus

Virtual Course (Two-Part Series)

  • Format: Two mandatory 4-hour sessions (live, instructor-led via Zoom)

Department-Specific Training Available

Departments may request tailored Yellow Belt courses for their staff. The content can be customized to reflect your processes, goals, and team dynamics. Schedule a consult with the Bruin Process Flow team to learn more.

Course Fees: No course fee

Gemba Academy provides self-guided learning to help individuals master process improvement techniques. This self-paced track builds the mindset and skills needed to identify waste, streamline processes, and support positive change in your unit or department.
