Carlos is the Manager for the paint, mason, roofing and sign shops for Maintenance & Alterations. He oversees the general maintenance of the campus, health systems and Santa Monica Hospital. In 2018, he received a certificate from UCLA UNEX in construction management. He has been with Facilities Management for over 14 years. Prior to his UCLA employment, Carlos worked in the construction of new buildings, tenant space improvements and the installation of HVAC systems. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, is an avid sports fan and volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America.
