As the Manager of Labor Relations, Kim Massih works closely with stakeholders across the UCLA campus, including faculty, staff, unions, and administration, to develop and implement policies and practices that align with and support the University of California’s educational mission. Kim’s strong leadership skills, combined with her passion for education and her legal acumen, have been instrumental in building positive labor-management relationships and advancing the University’s mission.

Kim’s passion for education extends beyond her current role and she is actively engaged in promoting education equity, diversity, and inclusion, both within and outside the University. Her involvement in UC leadership programs and her commitment to social justice make her a respected advocate for educational opportunities for all.

Kim holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, where she double majored in Psychology and Social Welfare, and minored in Spanish.

When she’s not at the bargaining table, Kim aspires to make her home look like it’s been on the Home Edit and enjoys binge watching period pieces.
