Bill is a campus events leader with over 20 years of experience directing events and event management staff with the UCLA Events Office. Beginning in July 2025 he was appointed the Acting Director of the Office to guide operations through the end of the LA28 Olympics. His list of achievements includes budgeting and managing campus services for the L.A. Times Festival of Books, the Special Olympics World Games, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Sports Awards, and UCLA Commencements, in addition to numerous film and television shoots. Administratively he has led the Events Office’s modernization and efficiency efforts, moving production calendars and event intake forms online, and transitioning the office out of paper-based event files. Bill is a long-time member of the Campus Facilities Coordinating Committee and has contributed to new university events and film shoot policies and standard practices. Prior to joining UCLA, Bill managed studio operations for an independent video and animation production facility.
