Carol Huang is the Assistant Director of Organizational Performance for Housing & Hospitality at UCLA. In this role, she leads the H&H Mentoring Program and oversees the development of strategic learning plans, cross-organizational training, professional development and volunteer programs, learning management systems, emotional intelligence and diversity initiatives, and process improvement efforts.

Carol joined UCLA Housing in 2016 as the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Manager. Prior to her tenure at UCLA, she spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry, holding leadership positions with esteemed brands such as Hyatt and The Ritz-Carlton. Her background includes expertise in people management, service excellence, event execution, and delivering world-class guest experiences.

In 2022, Carol earned a Master of Professional Studies in Organization Development and Change from Penn State University. She is also a certified facilitator for Benchmark 360-degree Assessments and Crucial Conversations. Her diverse professional experience and formal training allow her to bring unique insights and thought leadership to organization development strategies within Housing & Hospitality.

Passionate about empowering others, Carol is dedicated to helping individuals overcome self-doubt and build the skills needed for career advancement. Since 2024, she has volunteered as an executive coach for the annual UC Berkeley Next Opportunity at Work (NOW) Conference, where she continues to inspire and guide emerging professionals.
