Events & Transportation

Monica is the Principal Event Manager for the UCLA Events Office. She is responsible for managing complex and large scale events on the UCLA campus including UCLA Commencement activities and Bruin Family Weekend. In addition, Monica fields and vets new event inquiries and delegates confirmed event assignments to event managers. Monica's previous experience includes planning various events for UCLA Catering and Conference Services and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites. During the pandemic, she assisted with the operation of the mass vaccination sites at Dodger Stadium and Cal State LA. 

Outside of work, Monica enjoys visiting national parks, finding the best spots to eat in LA, and playing tennis.
