With over 20 years of experience across the University of California system, Rashmi is a strategic leader who bridges human resources and IT solutions to drive impactful initiatives and innovative technology integrations. She is currently the Manager of the HR Information Technology Products team at UCLA’s Digital & Technology Solutions, leading continuous improvements that enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience.
Looking ahead, Rashmi is committed to leveraging innovative technology to transform HR services, making them more efficient, accessible, and empowering for employees across the university.
Prior to UCLA, Rashmi held senior HR business partner and leadership roles at UC San Diego, where she led efforts in workforce analytics, talent acquisition strategies, HRIS initiatives, and organizational transformation. She is recognized for her data-driven approach, collaborative leadership, and ability to align people, processes, and technology to support institutional goals.
A champion of continuous improvement, Rashmi consistently drives enhancements in systems and workflows to elevate the user experience for both HR teams and employees.
Rashmi has served on the UCLA Administrative Management Group (AMG) Board for the past two years and recently completed the Pathways to HR Director Program through UCLA Law Executive Education, further strengthening her strategic HR leadership capabilities.
Outside of work, Rashmi enjoys reading, spending time with family, and exploring new restaurants. She is passionate about lifelong learning and brings that same dedication to her professional life, leading with empathy, integrity, and a collaborative spirit.
