Robert is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Radiation Safety Officer at UCLA. In his role, he assumes responsibility for managing the radiation protection program, ensuring the safe use of radiation for both research and clinical operations within the university. With a strong commitment to workplace safety, Robert collaborates with stakeholders at UCLA to foster a secure work environment for the entire campus community. In addition to his professional commitments, Robert is passionate about mentoring the next generation of Health Physicists. He has already successfully guided and mentored two Radiation Safety Officers and numerous Health Physicists who have gone on to make significant impacts in their respective organizations. Robert holds a Ph.D. in Health Physics from Idaho State University and is board-certified with the American Board of Health Physicists.

Outside of his work, Robert engages in meaningful missionary work in his home country, Cameroon, where he travels to support various initiatives. Furthermore, Robert enjoys embarking on travel adventures with his family, exploring awe-inspiring destinations around the world. In his personal life, Robert finds fulfillment in introspection and exploring profound questions about life, significance, and purpose. This reflective nature contributes to his holistic approach to both his professional and personal endeavors.
